Phillipines in 26 October and 5 November 2019, was great. We visited Mall of Asia, Divisoria Market and Ninoy Airport. It was really fantastic. I am planning to visit atleast for a few weeks this time. No vaccines are mondatory in Phillipines.

Agreed. Manila is wonderful and I think you can find deals there if you look hard enough. Makati is expensive as is SBG but I think you can find deals in Manila.

I visited the Philippines twice, and I hope to get there again. Hope the situation regarding coronavirus will get better.
I actaully enjoyed Manila itself also. Especially Bonifacio Global City which is very clean and really nice place, but also very expensive so not good for a tight budget but still I would recommend to stay there overnight.
For the second stay in the Philippines I decided to visit many places in a very short time and I have to say that it was a rush. Even though I visited many great places (only on Luzon Island), I didnt have a time to soak up the atmosphere and so did not fully enjoy it. Next time if I ever go there, I would like to visit max. two places so I can chill more.

My question is, do you recommend Tacloban City as a budget place to stay?

hi, I’m Filipino and the best time of the year here is from December up to February – lesser rains and sunny but cooler weather.

Thanks for sharing the most incredible budget travel destinations. I only heard of two of the islands you’ve mentioned so I’m glad I found your post!
The Philippines sounds amazing right now, especially since it’s winter time in Europe.

We were going to go to the Philippines, but it’s cancelled because of Coronavirus. Luckily we’re healthy, but know a lot of people who aren’t doing so great. Here’s hoping you make it through everything well, and we hope you recover soon!

Meat from smaller bbq places can also be quite sketchy, so on arrival to such places have a look around and assess the hygiene standards in the area before you decide to eat there.
