Hi Matt! I read travel articles a lot, and this is my first ever to read the travel guide related to LGBT. I found that your article is interesting and detailed to show every aspect of travel tips regarding accommodation, safety and even engage the lesbian social network which is the most concerned part to enable them for meeting new friends during the trip. I am not LGBT, but I have met some LGBT friends, and I am glad to have this article so that I can introduce to them. In another way, I can be more concerned about the detailed information regarding them while planning the trip with them in the future.

Love reading about your adventures and appreciate all of the great information shared.

My wife and I & a friend are interested in travel to New Zealand (first time). We are pretty outgoing and social, love to experience culture, light hiking (light to moderate), scenic walks, museums, art, beaches etc. We would like to stay in a 2 bed, 2 bath accommodations that are modern, very clean, gorgeous views in a area where we feel safe. We would also like to take in any LGBT, Lesbian events and meet new friends. We are all for being a short distance from city center, but would like to be able to relax in an environment that is fairly quiet away from hustle and bustle of tourists, but close to the beach.

I’m told Auckland and Wellington are ideal in the spring/fall season (less tourists). Any recommendations/suggestions would be awesome!

As the organizers of the ELLA International Lesbian Festival in Mallorca we have been fighting for years to improve the visibility of Lesbian Women!

There still is so much to be done, there is so much offer for Gay Men but so little done for Lesbian Women.

So, really, thank you and keep up with this great work you are doing!

I don’t see that lesbian or gay any problem cause it doesn’t tell all about you. Just don’t pay much attention on surrounding people. They are busy with their own issues and have no time to care about you are gay or lesbian.
